At a Glance

• Advertisements only. iloveblr lists classifieds ads posted by users. We are not a party to any transaction.
• Independent platform. iloveblr is not affiliated with the "I ❤️ BLR" civic installations or any brand.
• Google sign-in mandatory to act. Posting, liking, commenting, chatting and reporting require Google OAuth login.
• Mobile OTP for ads. Every ad requires mobile number verification.
• Continuous backend monitoring. We watch interactions and posts to control spam — but no system is 100% guaranteed.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

In these Terms:

• "iloveblr", "we", "us", "our" means iloveblr.com, an independent Bengaluru classifieds platform operated from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
• "Platform" means the website iloveblr.com and all associated modules, features, tools and services, including classifieds, chat, verification, paid promotions and the BMTC routes finder.
• "User", "you", "your" means any person who accesses or uses the Platform, whether as a guest or a registered user.
• "Classifieds" means user-posted advertisements in categories such as free ads, jobs, properties, events, vehicles and services.
• "Paid Promotion" means an optional paid feature that gives a listing featured placement, higher reach or longer duration.
• "Third-Party Gateway" means an external payment service provider such as Razorpay, PhonePe, PayU or Stripe.
• "Content" means any text, images, data, listings, messages or other material submitted by a User.
• "Display Profile" means the public-facing name and optional photo a User sets separately on the Platform. It is not derived from Google account data.
• "BLR User" means the default placeholder display name shown when a User has not set a display name.
• "Verification" means the identity checks described in §8 — Google OAuth, mobile OTP, and call/email confirmation.

Headings are for convenience only. "Including" means including without limitation. The singular includes the plural and vice versa.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and iloveblr. If you use the Platform on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to both you and that entity.

iloveblr.com is an independent digital platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by any government body, civic authority, brand owner, or any party connected with the "I ❤️ BLR" / "I Love BLR" / "Namma Bengaluru" civic installations (including BBMP, BIAL, BMRCL, DULT, Brigade Foundation and Karnataka Tourism). iloveblr claims no right over those installations and owns no right, title or interest in any third-party brand appearing in user listings.

5. Brand Names, Logos and Third-Party Trademarks

iloveblr is a classifieds platform. Users frequently list genuine second-hand or new products that carry third-party brand names — for example, vehicles (Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Hyundai, Royal Enfield, Ola, Ather), mobiles and electronics (Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi), appliances, furniture and other branded goods.

5.1 No Ownership of Third-Party Brands

iloveblr owns no right, title or interest in any third-party brand name, logo, trademark or product identity that appears in user listings. All such trademarks, logos and brand names belong to their respective owners and are used by Users only to identify the genuine product they are advertising.

iloveblr does not manufacture, distribute, import, warrant or sell any product carrying these brands. We do not hold dealership, reseller, or authorised-service rights over any such brand.

5.2 No Affiliation with Brand Owners

iloveblr is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorised by any brand owner whose products appear in classifieds listings. The presence of a brand name in a listing does not indicate any relationship with that brand.

5.3 Rules for Users Using Brand Names

When you use a third-party brand name in a listing, you must:

• Use it only to truthfully describe a genuine product you own and are advertising.
• Not claim to be an authorised dealer, official reseller, brand representative, service centre, or affiliate of the brand, unless you genuinely are and can prove it.
• Not use brand logos, packaging images or marketing material in a way that implies endorsement by the brand owner.
• Not sell counterfeit, replica, "first copy", "master copy" or otherwise infringing goods. Such listings will be removed and the account may be suspended.
• Not misrepresent the condition, origin, warranty or provenance of the product.
• Not use the iloveblr name, logo or branding in any listing or external promotion in a way that implies our endorsement.

We may remove any listing that, in our reasonable judgement, misuses a third-party trademark or implies an affiliation that does not exist. We may also report suspected counterfeiting or trademark abuse to the relevant brand owner or authority.

5.4 Our Own Name and Logo

The "iloveblr.com" name, logo and platform identity are our own. You must not use them in any listing, external advertisement or communication in a way that suggests you are acting for, on behalf of, or in partnership with iloveblr.

6. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
• You must not be barred from using the Platform under the laws of India or any other applicable jurisdiction.
• You must not be subject to sanctions, embargoes or trade restrictions imposed by applicable authorities.
• You must not have a previously suspended or terminated account, unless reinstated by us in writing.

We may require age or identity verification at any time. We may refuse or withdraw access if eligibility is not met.

7. Account Registration — Google OAuth Required

You can browse ads, search by locality and view listings as a guest without an account. However, any interactive action on the Platform requires Google OAuth sign-in. This includes posting an ad, liking, commenting, initiating chat, and reporting while logged in.

7.1 What We Receive from Google at Sign-In

• Email address
• Google ID (a stable unique identifier)
• First name and Last name
• Profile photo

We do not receive or store your Google password. iloveblr's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

7.2 Google Data Is Never Shown Publicly

7.3 Your Public Identity — Display Profile

Your public-facing identity on the Platform comes from a separate Display Profile that you create and control — a display name and, optionally, a display photo. You choose your own display name, choose whether to upload a display photo, and can change these at any time. Your Display Profile is what other Users see next to your listings and chat messages.

7.4 Default Display Name — "BLR User"

If you have not set a display name, the Platform automatically shows the placeholder "BLR User" in place of your name. This placeholder is a fixed, non-personal label. It is not derived from your Google account, email, or name in any form.

7.5 Account Security

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must keep your Google account secure, including enabling two-factor authentication where available.
• You must notify us immediately at hello@iloveblr.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You must not share your account, create multiple accounts to evade restrictions, or impersonate another person.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, abusive or in breach of these Terms.

8. Verification of Users and Listings

To publish any classifieds ad, you must complete two verification steps: Google OAuth sign-in (identity) and mobile number verification via OTP, a verification call, or an email confirmation link (contactability). Unverified numbers cannot be attached to a live listing. If verification lapses or is revoked, the listing may be hidden or removed.

We also operate continuous backend monitoring of activity across posts, edits, chat, reports and interaction patterns to detect spam, fraud and abuse, alongside manual moderation. However, no system — automated or manual — is 100% effective. Verification confirms that an identity exists; it does not confirm the accuracy, legality, quality or good faith of any listing or User.

Full explanation of each verification layer — what it proves and what it does not prove — is on our Safety Guide §3. The following actions are fully restricted and are not available to guests or unauthorised users:

• Posting any ad without Google OAuth sign-in and mobile verification.
• Liking, commenting, saving or messaging listings without Google OAuth sign-in.
• Accessing chat threads you are not a participant in.
• Editing or deleting another User's content.
• Submitting paid promotions without payment confirmation via a Third-Party Gateway.

Attempts to bypass these restrictions — including automated tools, scripted requests or multiple-account abuse — are logged and may lead to suspension. Reporting is open to guests and logged-in Users alike.

9. Chat System — Rules of Use

We provide a chat system to contact sellers, employers, event organisers and other Users for genuine enquiries about listings only. Chat is available only to signed-in Users. Your chat identity uses your Display Profile (§7.3) — not your Google name. When using chat, you must not:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, defame or discriminate against any person.
• Send spam, unsolicited promotions, chain messages or bulk messages.
• Share or request OTPs, full card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, passwords, Aadhaar numbers or other sensitive identifiers.
• Scam, defraud, mislead or make false representations.
• Send external payment links unless the recipient has independently verified them.
• Use chat for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, trafficking or distribution of illegal material.

We may store and review chat messages for safety, fraud prevention and dispute resolution. We may suspend chat or accounts for violations. Chat is a communication tool: we are not responsible for promises, agreements or representations made in chat by any User.

10. Free Listings, Expiry and Paid Promotions

• Free quota: Each verified User receives a defined free quota for listings across categories.
• Expiry: Free listings expire after 30 days unless renewed. Expired listings may be removed without notice.
• Paid Promotions: Optional paid promotions give featured placement, higher reach and longer duration. All promoted listings are labelled as Promoted.
• Refunds for promotions: Fees are non-refundable once the promotion is live, except where the promotion fails due to a technical fault on our side.
• Advertising disclosure: Promotions do not constitute endorsement of the underlying listing, its accuracy or its legality.

11. Payments via Third-Party Gateways

Payments for Paid Promotions are processed through Third-Party Gateways such as Razorpay, PhonePe, PayU and Stripe.

• We do not store full card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking passwords. Payment is handled directly by the gateway.
• Your use of a gateway is governed by that gateway's own terms of service and privacy policy.
• If a payment fails or remains pending, the Paid Promotion will not be activated.
• Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
• Payments between Users for classifieds are not processed by iloveblr. We have no access to and no responsibility for such payments.

12. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You must not post, transmit or engage in any of the following:

• False, misleading, deceptive or fraudulent listings.
• Content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, hateful, violent, discriminatory or otherwise unlawful.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, privacy or other rights — including counterfeit or replica branded goods.
• Duplicate, spam, keyword-stuffed or artificially boosted listings.
• Sale or promotion of illegal goods or services, including narcotics, weapons, counterfeit goods, wildlife products, human trafficking or sexual services.
• Recruitment for pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick scams or unlicensed financial services.
• Listing of stolen property, or property you do not have the legal right to list.
• Scraping, crawling, data-mining or automated access to the Platform without written permission.
• Impersonation of any person, brand, brand representative, government body, or iloveblr staff.
• False claims of dealership, reseller status, authorised service status or brand affiliation.
• Distribution of malware, viruses, trojans or any harmful code.
• Collection of personal data of other Users without their consent.
• Circumvention of fees, quotas, moderation, bans, verification or security measures.

13. Content Moderation and Monitoring

We operate manual moderation supported by automated backend monitoring. We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

• Review, edit, label or remove any listing or message that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms, applicable law or community standards.
• Suspend, restrict or terminate any account involved in prohibited conduct.
• Preserve and disclose information to law enforcement where required by law.
• Report suspected illegal activity — including trademark abuse or counterfeit sales — to relevant authorities or brand owners.

Our monitoring is designed to control spam, fraud and irrelevant activity. However, no moderation process — automated or manual — is perfect or 100% effective. We do not guarantee that every breach will be detected, that every listing is accurate, or that every User is genuine. We are not obliged to monitor all content, and we are not responsible for User-posted content.

14. Reporting and Takedown

Any visitor — guest or signed-in User — may report a listing, chat message or User. We review reports in good faith. Review times vary by category and complexity. We may or may not take action depending on the evidence. Reporting does not create any obligation on iloveblr to remove content or take down a User, and our decisions are final.

15. Intellectual Property and DMCA / Notice-and-Takedown

All rights in the Platform — including the iloveblr name, logo, design, code, database structure and compiled transit data — are owned by us or our licensors. You must not copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, reverse-engineer or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of the Content you post. By posting Content, you grant iloveblr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute and promote that Content on the Platform and in our marketing channels, for as long as your Content remains on the Platform.

For third-party brand and trademark rights, see §5. For copyright complaints, send a written notice to hello@iloveblr.com with: (a) identification of the work; (b) identification of the infringing material and its URL; (c) your contact details; (d) a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised; (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate; and (f) your physical or electronic signature. We will review and act within a reasonable time.

16. Privacy and Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it and your rights. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and, where applicable to international users, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar regimes. Where you are located in a jurisdiction that grants additional rights (for example, access, correction, deletion, portability or objection), you may exercise them by contacting us at hello@iloveblr.com.

17. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates third-party services, including Google Sign-In, Google Analytics 4, Cloudflare, Firebase and Third-Party Gateways. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

Some listings may link to external sites. We do not control and are not responsible for external content or transactions conducted outside the Platform.

18. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability and uninterrupted availability.

We do not verify the accuracy, completeness, legality or quality of any classifieds ad, nor the identity, solvency or good faith of any User. We do not guarantee that any transaction between Users will be completed, or that any promise made in chat will be honoured. Verification (Google OAuth, mobile OTP, call/email confirmation) confirms that an identity exists; it does not certify the truth of any listing. You transact with other Users at your own risk.

We do not own or warrant any third-party brand or product referenced in a listing. See §5.

Safety Guide is educational, not a guarantee. Our Safety Guide is educational content designed to reduce risk. It does not guarantee protection against every scam, and scammers invent new methods daily. If you follow the Safety Guide fully and still get scammed, iloveblr is not responsible or liable for your loss. Full disclaimer: Safety Guide §21.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iloveblr and its directors, employees, agents and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed INR 1,000 or the total amount you paid to iloveblr in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is higher.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

20. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless iloveblr and its directors, employees, agents and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your Content; (b) your use of the Platform; (c) your breach of these Terms; (d) your violation of any law or third-party right — including trademark or brand rights; or (e) any transaction you enter into with another User.

21. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, applicable law or community standards, or if we are required to do so by law or a regulatory authority.

You may stop using the Platform at any time and request account deletion by writing to hello@iloveblr.com. Deletion of your account will not affect obligations incurred before termination, including any obligations under these Terms.

22. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the arbitration clause below, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform.

Arbitration: Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, which is not resolved through good-faith negotiation within 30 days, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India), seated in Bengaluru, in the English language, before a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement. The award shall be final and binding.

International users: Nothing in this clause prevents you from bringing a claim before a competent consumer protection authority or data protection authority in your country of residence, where applicable law grants you that right.

Online dispute resolution: Where available, Users may use the Government of India's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) portal or similar mechanisms for consumer disputes.

23. General Provisions

• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms referenced, constitute the entire agreement between you and iloveblr.
• Severability: If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment: We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms. You may not assign your rights without our prior written consent.
• Force majeure: We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, network failures, cyber-attacks, or acts of government.
• No agency: Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture or employment relationship between you and iloveblr, or between iloveblr and any brand owner, civic authority, or operator of the civic installations.
• Third-party rights: These Terms do not confer any rights on any third party.
• Notices: Notices to iloveblr must be sent to hello@iloveblr.com. Notices to you may be delivered via the Platform, your registered email or a prominent site notice.
• Survival: Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — shall survive.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated through a prominent notice on the Platform or by email.

25. Grievance Officer

Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, the Grievance Officer for iloveblr is:

26. Acceptance

By using iloveblr, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy; that you understand all listings on the Platform are advertisements only, with all transactions directly between Users; that you understand iloveblr is independent and not affiliated with the "I ❤️ BLR" civic installations or any brand owner; that you understand your Google-sourced data is kept private and your public identity uses your Display Profile (default "BLR User"); and that you understand the verification and monitoring measures described in §8, including their stated limitations.
